Dauntless Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brings it’s students two highly seasoned & accomplished BJJ Black Belts in the husband and wife team of Allen & Maribeth Sachetti. They provide an in depth skill level for the complete BJJ game in all positions, submissions, escapes, counters and recounters.
Becoming really good at BJJ requires more than just an idea of the moves. You have to also understand & devel-op the energy that exists within the moves. It is the proper application of this energy at specific points of con-tact within the technique, position or transition that makes the real difference between you being successful or not.
For students who truly want to excel Dauntless offers first the BJJ Foundational Course to take them from White to Blue Belt. After that there is the Dauntless BJJ Precision Course that takes you from Blue To Purple Belt and then beyond to Brown and finally Black Belt.
If you are looking for a great place to learn BJJ where you are genuinely taught in step by step, proper progression with a complete curriculum that leaves nothing out, then Dauntless is for you.
For the last 25 years the Sachetti’s have been with only the best in the game. Certified by Rickson Gracie, Royler Gracie and Luiz Palhares Allen is 2nd Degree and Maribeth is a 1st Degree BJJ Black Belt.
In addition they have trained with M1 Global Champion Renato Migliaccio from 2005 to 2011 and joined the legendary Marcelo Gracia’s online Academy from it’s conception.
The Sachettis are well rounded in Stand Up as well as the ground where they are known not only for their excellent bottom game but also a uniquely refined top game that destroys even the best BJJ Guards and 1/2 Guards.
The Dauntless BJJ Lineage
In 1914 Japanese Jiu-Jitsu Champion Esai Maeda arrived in Brazil, where he was aided by a Brazilian official named Gastao Gracie. In return he taught Gastao’s sons Carlos, Oswaldo, Gastao, Jorge & Helio Gracie the ancient art of Jiu-Jitsu. In 1925 Carlos Gracie and his brothers opened the first Jiu-Jitsu academy in Botafogo a district within Rio de Janeiro. Helio Gracie (the youngest brother) due to his frail health was forbidden from doing anything physical. However he got involved at 16 by substituting for his brother Carlos. Despite his small frame and weight Helio created an art that depended entirely upon Technique instead of strength or speed. Daring to break away from the Japanese style he went onto modify and refine the art through constant real “No Holds Barred Fights”, into what we now know today as Gracie Jiu-Jitsu or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Allen and Maribeth Sachetti began BJJ with Rickson Gracie in 1994, with Royler Gracie in 2002 and beyond with Renato Migliaccio, Luiz Palhares and more as their journey cotinues now on with their sons.
